Some people in this world weather due to lack of clear knowledge or any other reason, get confused on the term Salvation. Some say it is not possible for a person to be saved. Some think that to be converted to a certain religion or denomination is the same as Salvation. Now, what is it real?
Wow! I’m sure this is right time for God to talk to you about SALVATION in Jesus Christ. Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 6:2 says, “I tell you now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.” It might be you have heard about Salvation in one way or the other but today is so special for you to hear this Good news about Jesus Christ.
Salvation is all about Jesus Christ, that is what made Him to come on earth "TO SAVE THE WORLD" in Matthew 1:21, the Angel of God speaks to Joseph about Mary. The Angel says, "She will have a son, and you will name him Jesus-because He will SAVE his people from their sins"
Then in John 3:16-18 we read "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
Here you can the Love of God to us human being, because of our sins Jesus is given as a ransom. In 2Peter 3:9 we read, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"
Remember we are all sinners!
In Romans 3:23 we read that "We are all sinners and we have fallen short of glory of God" Then under sin:
- We were all died (Ephesian 2:1)
- We were darkness (Ephesian 5:8)
- We were under powers of darkness (Colossians 1:13)
In Ephesian 2:8 we read that:
It is grace of God
It is by faith in Jesus Christ we are all saved
In the book of John 1:12 we read, "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name"
So, salvation is neither church membership nor religion, but the plan of God to save the lost man from bondage of sin. You may be a faithful member of a certain denomination, religion or church but that doesn't guarantee your salvation.
Salvation is much about restored relationship between sinful man and Holy God through blood of Jesus shaded at the cross of Calvary. Jesus came for reconciliation between us and Almighty God
Now is the time for you to make decision, and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

- In Jesus, we are new creatures: In 2Corithians 5:17 we read "Any one who is joined to Christ is a new being; the old is gone, the new has come"
- In Christ we have eternal life: Romans 6:23 we read "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord"
- We have moved from dearth to life: John 5:24 says "I am telling you the truth: those who hear my words and believe in him who sent me have eternal life. They will not be judged, but have already passed from death to life"
- In Jesus we are free from slavery of sin. (John 8:31,34-36)
